Both my twitter and fb timelines are full with recaps of 2012 and 2013 resolutions…

My recap of 2012 – overall I’d say it’s the year full of tears. Some are happy tears some are not. The low points in 2012 thought me to be more thankful to Allah, and honestly, I’d say these dips in my life are life changing experience and have shaped me to become who am I today. Alhamdulillah. All praises to Allah!

Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, reported:
“Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) said: The believer does not allow himself to be stung twice from one (and the same) hole. “

May Allah accept all our deeds in 2012. May 2013 brings us closer to Allah..

Hoping for an exciting 2013. And may Allah guide and ease our journey to achieve all the dreams and resolutions…

I’ve added new page up  there – quickLinks.

couldn’t find a catchy word for it….ahah..

it provides links to my previous posts on food/recipes, and i’m sharing my “BG” notes insyaAllah..

on the “BG” notes…

it is actually an initiative (well not really an initiative…perasan je) started when i ‘m sharing the notes with izyan noor when she was in Brussels..

but due to the fact i’m so lazy to switch on the  laptop (yes, i’m that lazy..coz it’s heavy and big) only managed to type a few..

in need of the new iPad or Asus zenbook..  😛 (anyone so baik to buy me one? eheh)

anyways, insyaAllah, i’ll try to add more as we go along, please make Dua for me to stay istiqamah in doing this..

this way, i’m actually revising what i’ve learnt, and insyaAllah, to practice them as well..

have a blessed, safe, and great week ahead =)

** crappy post alert & again blogging from phone **

Damage done. Serves me right. There’s nothing I can do to turn back time. I feel guilty. Honestly, I do. At some point in time this has got to stop. And when it does, I hope the damage won’t be that bad…

P/s: I’ll put up photos of mount kinabalu trip once I compile them… But sgt malas nk compile..hehh

**blogging from the phone**
Another short & crappy entry..

They said you can’t always get what you want. It’s true indeed..

I sense that history may repeat itself. And if it does, I should have known what the decision is. But I believe when the time comes, I’ll still be indecisive…

Eid Mubarak everyone! =)

it’s my 6th year not celebrating Eid ul-Adha with the family. since it’s only a 1 day public holiday and i have only few days left for my AL, i decided to celebrate Eid in Miri..

have been doing a lot of travelling for the past 3 weeks or so..
even if i’m in the office i may not always be at my workstation.. lately it’s either SSB office or Abnaki Hall or KRP.. it’s tiring sometimes, but there are a lot to learn since i have moved to a new section.. Alhamdulillah =)
in fact i’ve already changed my signatures for my emails…hehh..

anyways, just got back from Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei.. it was an impromptu decision for me and Jazlin to celebrate Eid there. Jazlin’s friends came all the way from KK to Brunei, and when she invited me along, i’d say why not.. the initial plan was to travel before Fajr to BSB to get the chance to perform Eid prayer in Brunei. Luckily one of our colleagues told us that the border will not open until 6am. so we traveled to BSB last night and stayed one night in Gadong.

so by 7am, we were already in Jame’Asr Hassanal Bolkiah Mosque for Eid prayers. we thought there will be some jamuan after the prayers and khutbah..guess not.. managed to have a closer look (probably 5m away) at the sultan and his princes.. but they were all in the car..

then we had a short tour around kampung ayer since those from KK really wanted to visit the village. and for the girls, we actually rode the small boat with our baju kurung and heels on and without any life vest. sgt tak comply with HSE. luckily wearing life vest is not in the ZeTo rules 😛 am i right???

of course no Brunei trip is complete without SUSHI! =) so had lunch in excapade sushi. surprisingly i had only 2 plates of sushi.. haha and before coming back to Miri, we stopped at Gadong Mall for Dairy Queen Blizzard.. but i end up with these two kain..guess how much i bought them? hehh….

will travel again to BTU for the next 2 weeks..but i believe i’ll still be in Miri on weekends.. attending MLNG Natural Gas course next week insyaAllah..can’t wait! and for the following week, i’ll be there for BIF Due Diligence.. i’m happy to go to BTU as long i’m still based in Miri..heheh..

Take care ppl..and have a great week ahead 🙂
